  • Make sure that you are comfortable in your sitting position.
  • Close your eyes and relax both your mind and body.
  • Place the tip of your tongue at the back of the upper row of the front teeth.
  • Use your nose to breathe for 4 seconds.
  • Then, hold the breath for the duration of 7 seconds.
  • Next, breathe out through your mouth for the duration of 8 seconds.
  • While breathing our make a relief sound.
  • Do three repetitions.

There is also another simple exercise that you can do if your lower back pain is caused by your sedentary lifestyle. Doing this exercise will help you eliminate back pain for good.


  • Lie down on the stomach and use your elbows to lean back.
  • Raise the upper part of your body, lean on your elbows and lift your head. Hold this position for 8 seconds.
  • Return to starting position.
  • Do 2 repetitions of these steps.
  • Raise your pelvic area and remain in that position for the duration of 8 seconds. Then, return to starting position.
  • Lie down on your back and bend your knees. Use your hands to hold the legs.
  • Tug your legs toward the chest and hold that position for 8 seconds.
  • Return to starting position.
  • Repeat 2 times.

Performing this exercise on a daily basis prior to going to bed will help you eliminate back pain for good. Moreover, being physically active will be of a great help as well.
